Arkantara's teacher payroll software runs school payroll month by month from each teacher's and staff member's salary structure. Pay per day present and deductions per day absent come from staff attendance, and each period is approved before it is marked paid.

Salary components and structures
Set base salary, allowances, and deductions as components. Each employee's salary structure has effective dates, so every pay change keeps its history.

Pay based on staff attendance
A component can be fixed per month, per day present, or per day absent. The month's staff attendance summary is used directly when the period is calculated.

Percentage deductions such as BPJS
The school sets its own rate and base cap for deductions such as BPJS or simple income tax. Results are rounded down to whole rupiah.

Payroll periods with approval
Each period moves from draft to calculated, approved, and paid. One-off bonuses or deductions are added per period, and an approved period reopens only with a reason.

Teacher payslips as PDF
Each employee views and downloads only their own payslip and gets an in-app notification when the period is marked paid.

Bank transfer file and payroll reports
Download a transfer CSV with bank, account, and net pay for approved periods, plus a CSV report per period. Account numbers are stored encrypted.
Frequently asked questions
Are BPJS and tax rates set automatically?
No statutory rates are built in. The school enters its own percentage rates and base caps, and Arkantara calculates each deduction from the employee's gross earnings, rounded down to whole rupiah.
Does Arkantara transfer salaries to teachers' accounts?
No. Arkantara prepares a CSV file with the bank, account number, account holder, and net pay that the school uses when making transfers through its bank. Staff then mark the period as paid.
Who can see every employee's salary?
Only users with payroll permissions, such as a treasurer or school admin. Teachers and staff see only their own payslips. Transfer file exports are recorded in the audit log without the account numbers.
