Arkantara's student savings app keeps school savings records per student, so there is no paper ledger to lose. Staff record deposits and withdrawals, the system keeps the balance after every entry, and parents see the balance and history in the parent portal.

Student savings accounts
Open one account for each active student, numbered from the student's NIS, so accounts are easy to find and never mixed up.

Numbered deposits and withdrawals
Every entry gets a slip number and the balance after it. A withdrawal can never exceed the balance, and a form submitted twice never doubles an entry.

Corrections that keep the history
Mistakes are fixed with a reversal entry and a reason, so the savings history stays complete and every correction is recorded in the audit log.

PDF passbook
Print or download a student's passbook as a PDF listing each deposit, withdrawal, and running balance.

Savings balance in the parent portal
Guardians see their child's savings balance and history in the Savings tab of the parent portal, without having to ask the school.
Frequently asked questions
Who can record savings deposits and withdrawals?
Only users with the savings teller permission, such as a treasurer or a staff member chosen by the school. Viewing and recording are separate permissions, and the teacher role template has no savings access.
Are student savings mixed with school income?
No. Savings are money held for students, not school income, so they are not posted to the cash book or counted in income reports.
Does student savings need a separate app?
No. Student savings is part of the Arkantara finance module (Keuangan) and uses the same student records as the rest of Arkantara.
