Online admissions app for SPMB and PPDB

Arkantara gives schools that run their own intake, such as private schools, an online SPMB (formerly PPDB) app. Applicants register on the admissions page of the school website, and the committee checks documents, records selection results, and announces decisions. Accepted applicants become student records without retyping.

What you can do

  • Online application form

Applicants enter their own and their guardian's details and upload documents as PDF or image files. Each applicant receives a registration number and an access code.

  • Intake periods, tracks, and quotas

Set up intake periods, the target grade, and tracks such as regular or merit with their own quotas. The system refuses an acceptance once the period or track quota is full.

  • Document checks and selection stages

The committee ticks off received documents, schedules selection stages, and records each applicant's score. Written tests can run as on-site CBT exams without applicant accounts.

  • PPDB pages on the school website

Public PPDB pages show the poster, steps, requirements, schedule, tracks, fees, FAQ, and a WhatsApp chat button for the committee. Search engines can index these pages.

  • Status check and result announcement

Applicants check their status with the registration number and access code. Accepted, waitlisted, or rejected decisions appear only after the committee publishes results.

  • Accepted applicants become students

Turn an accepted applicant into a student record with guardian, class, and copies of their documents. Applicant lists export to CSV or print as PDF.

Frequently asked questions

Are SPMB and PPDB the same thing in Arkantara?

Since Permendikdasmen No. 3 of 2025, PPDB is officially called SPMB (Sistem Penerimaan Murid Baru). The module is still labeled PPDB in the app and covers admissions the school runs itself; it does not connect to the education office's SPMB system.

How do applicants find out their selection result?

Applicants open the status check on the PPDB page with the registration number and access code from their receipt. It shows the selection schedule and the planned announcement date, never scores, and the decision appears once results are published.

Who can see applicant documents and data?

Access follows the roles set by the school admin. Identity files such as birth certificates or family cards can only be downloaded by committee members allowed to manage applicants; others only see that a file was uploaded. Key changes are recorded in the audit log.
