Parent portal app for school guardians
The Arkantara parent portal is a web app that guardians can add to their phone's home screen. Parents keep up with their child's grades, attendance, timetable, and school announcements without waiting for a meeting. Each guardian sees only the children the school has linked to their account.

Grades and report cards
See assignment scores, CBT results, and report cards by semester. The report card opens, and downloads as a PDF, once the school has approved every final grade.

Attendance and leave requests
A semester summary of present, sick, excused, absent, and late days. Parents can request leave with one attached letter, such as a doctor's note.

Timetable, materials, and homework
Each child's timetable, learning materials, and unsubmitted assignments in one place. Guardians are also told when work is still missing after the due date.

Invoices and online payment
When the finance module is active, guardians see invoices, receipts, and payment history, and can pay online through DOKU if the school has connected it.

Homeroom teacher consultations
Homeroom teachers open time slots, and parents book one slot per child per day with an optional topic, cancelling any time before it starts.

Announcements in the parent portal
Recent announcements appear on the child's overview. The Communication tab collects the school's notices about the child, such as conduct records, invoices, and leave decisions.
Frequently asked questions
How do parents get access to the portal?
Parents use an account with their own email, either from a school email invitation or by signing up at the school's address if the school allows it. An admin links the account to the guardian record and gives it the guardian role. One account can follow several children at the same school.
Do parents need to download an app from the Play Store or App Store?
No. The portal runs in the browser on phones and computers and can be added to the home screen as a web app (PWA). Arkantara does not publish an app in the app stores.
Does every portal tab always appear?
Tabs follow the modules in the school's plan. Tabs such as invoices, library, transport, canteen, or graduation appear only when that module is included; tabs outside the plan are hidden and their addresses cannot be opened.
